The fabric is certified UPF 50 by our manufacturer, blocking about 98% of UV rays. The hood covers the head and neck. Use sunscreen on any skin it doesn't cover.
What's it made of? Is it safe for kids?
Lightweight, breathable, moisture-wicking 100% polyester. Our sun hoodies meet CPSC (U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission) safety standards for children's products.
How do I wash it?
Machine wash cold and hang or lay flat to dry.
